How does coaching differ from the fields of mentoring, counselling, training, consulting and therapy?

The key distinguishing coaching from other interventions is that all of the others imply a need or shortcoming. Coaching is not remedial - it works from a premise that the client is well-poised to give full expression to his or her potential.

Do you use a systematic coaching methodology? What is it?

Cohesion uses the Meta-Coach methodology, based on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and neuro-semantics, both of which have their roots in the cognitive-behavioral sciences. This approach is diametrically opposed to coaching practices that come from the field of therapy. It also eclipses traditional results-based coaching in that, in addition to Performance coaching, it operates at the Developmental and Transformational levels, where explosions of potential are unleashed.

We use the Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) communication model. NLP is a highly refined communication model for getting through to people in a way that can transform relationships and experiences. Cohesion`s coaches are accredited Master Practitioners in NLP.
